Denny Hamlin kicked off the 2021 NASCAR Cup SeriesTM Playoff with a thrilling victory in the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
Driving the No. 11 Offerpad Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing, Hamlin led the race’s final 69 laps, but had to thwart a last-lap charge from the second-place competitor to score his first victory of the 2021 season and the 45th of his career.
