Joey Logano put an exclamation point on his 2022 NASCAR Cup Series® season with a championship performance at Phoenix Raceway.
The Team Penske driver earned his second NASCAR Cup Series® championship in dominating fashion at Phoenix. Driving the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang, Logano won the pole for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series® Championship Race and led a race-high 188 laps. He held off a Team Penske teammate for the win and kept all fellow championship contenders in his rear-view mirror down the stretch for the title.
