John Hunter Nemechek celebrated a dominant victory in incendiary fashion that mirrored the blistering performance he
put on at Martinsville Speedway.
Driving the aptly-sponsored No. 20 Pye-Barker Fire & Safety Toyota GR Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing, Nemechek’s celebratory burnout caught the rear of the car on fire. Once the flames were extinguished, Nemechek was honored for the
win that saw his No. 20 car out front for a dominant 198 of the race’s 250 laps. It was Nemechek’s second win of the
2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series® season and his first at Martinsville.
