Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson kept up his 2021 NASCAR Cup SeriesTM Playoff hot streak at Kansas Speedway by securing his third-straight victory.
Larson’s No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet was out front a race-high 130 laps en route to his ninth victory of the season. He became the first NASCAR Cup SeriesTM driver to win three straight races on two occasions during a season since 1987. The win also came 17 years to the day that Hendrick Motorsports lost 10 team members in a plane crash in Virginia.
