In need of something extraordinary to have a shot at the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series® Playoffs, Richard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon took extraordinary measures to lock into the post season with his first win in nearly two seasons. Dillon, who entered Richmond 32nd in points and in need of a win to capture a Playoff spot, ran amongst the leaders for most of the race.
